This release introduces key enhancements to the Price Builder and Lifecycle Manager, including improved object export/import functionality and more flexible subscription management.

Feature Enhancements

Price Builder

Ability to export and import objects with External ID

In this release, we’ve significantly improved our object export and import functionality to streamline data migration across different environments. This update introduces the concept of a Unique Export ID, enhancing reliability and reducing conflicts during imports. Please refer to this article for details about this enhancement.

Lifecycle Manager

Ability to filter out improperly configured products in the Line Editor product selector

We’ve improved the product selector by automatically filtering out products with NULL SKU or NULL UOM in the price book entry. This update ensures you see only relevant, properly configured items, enhancing your workflow efficiency.

Ability to update quantities multiple times in multi-year subscription contracts

Sales representatives can now create multiple Update Quantity changes for a subscription, each with a different effective date. This enhancement enables more flexible and accurate management of multi-year contracts with varying quantity requirements over the subscription term.

Billing

Order synchronization job runs into "Apex heap size too large" errors

We've fixed the "heap size too large" error in the order sync job that occurred after processing many auto-renewal orders. The new custom setting “OrderSyncBatchSize” in Salesforce defaults to 20 orders per batch, preventing this issue.
