Release 2409.1

Scheduled on Thursday, 11/14/2024

  • This release features improvements to immediate collection with Stripe and addresses various bugs.

Feature Enhancements

Stripe Integration

Immediate collection with ACH and Card in Stripe

  • We've enhanced the payment processing flow to provide instant confirmation for invoices when customers have ACH or Credit/Debit Card payment methods saved in Stripe. This improvement significantly reduces payment processing time and provides immediate feedback to users.
  • For more information about collection method preference, please refer to this article.

Bug Fixes

Lifecycle Manager

Sort order of line items on a quote was causing errors during edits

  • We identified an issue where the sort order of line items on a quote was causing errors during edits. Initially, users could edit a line item without any issues, but subsequent attempts to edit other line items resulted in an error. With this fix, users can now seamlessly edit multiple line items on a quote without encountering errors.

Everything Billing

Tax amount discrepancy between Order Product and Invoice Items

  • Previously, there was a discrepancy in the tax amount calculated between the Order Product and the Invoice Items. This inconsistency was due to the taxable amount being set incorrectly after sending the total price to Avalara for tax calculation.
  • This bug fix ensures that the taxable amount is correctly set to the original total price, eliminating discrepancies between the Order Product and Invoice Items.

Orders cannot be synced to Nue if Bill To Contact's Title has more than 40 characters

  • Previously, some orders could not be synced to Nue if the Bill To Contact's Title exceeded 40 characters. In this release we have increased the character limit for the Bill To Contact's Title from 40 to 255 characters. This fix ensures that orders with longer Bill To Contact titles are successfully synced to Nue.
