Nue on Salesforce Layout Configurations

All pages in Nue on Salesforce are fully configurable. The lightning pages developed by Nue are metadata-driven and supported by various layouts and field sets, which can be completely configured through Salesforce's Object Manager settings.

Layout Configurations

The table below outlines the components present on various pages of Nue on Salesforce, along with their configuration options.

Quote Creation Flow	Create Quote		Object Manager: Quote → Page Layouts Nue provides updated page layouts with a version number suffix, such as “Nue Quote Layout v2406”. To customize the layout: 1. Choose the quote layout with the latest Nue version and customize the page layout as needed. 2. Fields configured below the __DIVIDER__ section will appear on the left side of the Create Quote page. 3. Assign the customized page layout to the appropriate profiles. 4. Log in to the Nue App and navigate to System Settings. In the ‘Quotes and Orders’ panel, click the ‘Refresh’ button in the Layout Settings section to update the profile layout settings.

		Price Summary	Object Manager: Quote → Field Sets → Quote Price Fields
		Lines	Object Manager: Quote → Page Layouts 1. Open the Page Layout assigned to designated user profiles 2. Related Lists → Quote Line Items To configure the default Collapse/Expand status of the Ramp Line Items: Login to Nue App → Quotes and Orders → Line Editor, configure the value of Defaut Visibility of Ramp Lines. To configure the default page size of the line editor grid: Login to Nue App → Quotes and Orders → Line Editor, configure the value of Default Page Size.

Product Selector	List View		The Product Selector List View combines fields from Product, Pricing Attributes, and Price Book Entries displayed in the following order: Product Name Product SKU Price Book Entry: UOM Price Book Entry: List Price Product: Custom fields configured from Product → Field Sets → Product Search Columns Price Book Entry: A list of pricing attributes These pricing attributes, once configured are automatically added to the list layout Price Book Entry: Custom fields configured from Price Book Entry → Field Sets → Product Search Fields
Product Configurator	List View	Columns	The Product Configurator List View combines fields from Product, Product Option and Quote LIne Item objects. Product columns are configured through: Object Manager: Product → Field Sets → Product Columns Product Option columns are configured through: Object Manager: Product Option → Field Sets → Product Option Columns Quote Line Item columns are configured through: Object Manager: Quote Line Item → Field Sets → Product Configurator Columns
Product Configurator	List View	Page Size	Nue App → System Settings → Quotes and Orders → Product Configurator → List View: Default Page Size
Order Creation Flow	Create Order		Object Manager: Order → Page Layouts Nue provides updated page layouts with a version number suffix, such as “Nue Order Layout v2111.6”. To customize the layout: 1. Choose the quote layout with the latest Nue version and customize the page layout as needed. 2. Fields configured below the __DIVIDER__ section will appear on the left side of the Create Quote page. 3. Assign the customized page layout to the appropriate profiles. 4. Custom Fields

To ensure optimized performance and prevent unnecessary namespace conflicts, Nue does not automatically load all custom fields configured in the Quote Line Editor, Order Line Editor, or the tables in the Lifecycle Manager. Instead, we provide a field set named 'Custom Fields' (API Name: Ruby__NueAvailableFields) on the following objects: Quote, Quote Line Item, Order, Order Product, Invoice, Account, Asset, and Subscription.
