managing a complex subscription with numerous children subscriptions, assets, and entitlements can often be a challenging task in this tutorial, we are going to show you how to use nue lifecycle manager to easily reconfigure a bundle subscriptions, including the following use cases add or remove an add on to a bundle subscription change the quantities of add ons in a bundle subscription we are going to use bundle product vroom pro throughout this tutorial vroom pro has the following configuration inherited from vroom basic group meetings private and group chat additional products vroom webinar vroom webinar is an optional, but recommended add on product its revenue model is usage it is not connected to the bundle quantity customers can purchase by the number of minutes actually consumed for the webinar concurrent users concurrent users is a platform feature that is required in the bundle but default, there is 1 concurrent user included for each license the customer purchase but the customer can purchase up to 3 concurrent users per user license add add on products scenario customer smart revenue has purchased a 12 month subscription of vroom pro with the most basic configuration in the midterm of the subscription, the sales rep shows smart revenue that if they add vroom webinar as part of the bundle, they can get the first 100 minutes for free because of a company promotion you can follow the steps below to add vroom webinar as an add on by reconfiguring the bundle subscription login to salesforce navigate to nue on salesforce → accounts search and click to open the account click "manage customer lifecycle" to navigate to nue lifecycle manager navigate to 'subscriptions' tab, and find the subscription to reconfigure click 'reconfigure' in the reconfigure popup, you are asked when the reconfiguration starts effectively pick the date, e g , 07/01/2023 click 'confirm' this will add a reconfigure change request to the change cart click change cart, and click checkout and follow the page flow to checkout into a quote or an order in the line editor of the change quote or order, you will see the following you can click the 'wrench' (configure) icon next to the bundle subscription to reconfigure the subscription as instructed when you click on the configure icon, a reconfigure popup is displayed again for you to confirm the reconfigure effective date you can change this date or leave it as is click 'confirm' the product configurator launches click into the quantity of vroom webinar to change the quantity to 500 total units, and click confirm as a result, the vroom webinar is added as a new product into the line editor after the reconfiguration the start date is set to 07/01/2023 now you have successfully reconfigured the bundle by adding a new add on product you can click on 'configure' icon again to remove the add on or change its quantity update add on product quantity scenario customer smart revenue wants to change the number of concurrent users from 1 to 3 per user license you can follow the exact steps above to reconfigure the bundle subscription in the product configurator, click into 'concurrent users', and change the quantity from 1 to 3 please note since this add on product is configured to linked to bundle quantity,when you change the quantity from 1 to 3, the actual quantity of the add on product will be multiplied by the quantity of the bundle for example, if the quantity of the bundle is 10, then the actual quantity will be changed from 10 to 30 note please note that you cannot change the quantity or term for the bundle while reconfiguring if you need to make such changes, please proceed with a quantity or term change to the bundle directly in the customer lifecycle manager now after you reconfigure and change the quantity from 1 to 3, a change line item is added to the line editor as follows as you can see in the above screenshot, the concurrent users add on has its quantity changed from 10 to 30, effective 07/01/2023 the prices are calculated accordingly for the added 20 units now you can activate the order or close won the opportunity as usual then you can navigate back to the lifecycle manager, and take a look at the subscription the bundle subscription is versioned in the new version, you can see 2 children subscriptions you can also click on the child subscription to expand to see the details the child subscription is either created (webinar) or versioned (concurrent users) cancel add on products scenario due to economy downturn, smart revenue would like to discontinue the webinar subscription on 10/01/2023 the sales rep can simply reconfigure to remove the webinar subscription you can follow exact same steps mentioned above to reconfigure the bundle subscription and set the effective date to 10/01/2023 in the product configurator, uncheck webinar product to remove it from the bundle click confirm in the line editor, the system creates a cancel change line, which essentially cancels the webinar subscription starting 10/01/2023 when you activate the order as usual, the add on subscription will be canceled starting 10/01/2023 reconfigure assets and entitlements similarly, users can reconfigure assets and entitlements in a bundle subscription we support the following scenarios add or remove assets / entilements in a bundle subscription; add or remove quantities of assets / entilements in a bundle subscription you can follow the exact same steps above to reconfigure the bundle subscriptions please note that if the children subscriptions, assets or entitlements are add ons not linked to bundle quantity, optionally, you can find these children subscriptions, assets or entitlements and add / remove
