Overview

Nue leverages the Salesforce platform to integrate the Nue billing system with Salesforce CRM, so the business data generated in Salesforce, for example, orders and subscriptions, will be synced to Nue. And the billing-related data like invoices are synced back to Salesforce to give the end users a full view of their customer's lifecycle. 


There might be unsuccessful data sync between Nue and Salesforce for the following reasons:

 

Network Issues:

Internet connectivity: Unstable or disrupted internet connections on either side can prevent data from being transmitted or received for syncing.
Firewall restrictions: Firewalls configured to block specific ports or protocols used by the integration can hinder communication.
Network timeouts: If the network takes too long to transmit data, timeouts may occur, leading to partial or failed syncs.


Integration Problems:

Incorrect configuration: Mistakes in the settings or parameters of the integration can cause miscommunication or data formatting issues. For example, the connected app might not be configured correctly or the integration users don't have enough permissions

API limitations: Some APIs may have limitations on data size or frequency of updates, causing bottlenecks or delays in syncing.


Data Related Issues:

Data validation errors: Invalid data formats or missing fields in one system may prevent syncing data from one system into the other.

 

Other reasons:

System overload: High concurrent activity or processing demands on either system can slow down or delay data syncing.

Maintenance downtime: Scheduled maintenance on either system can temporarily interrupt syncing until it returns online.

Authentication issues: Expired credentials or authorization problems can prevent access to necessary data or systems.

To maintain the correct sync status between Nue and Salesforce, Nue has scheduled the following nightly jobs to re-sync any data not in syncing status.
