Price Books

 

Price Book is a feature that allows businesses to define different prices for their products and services. It is essentially a catalog of products or services along with their prices.

 

Nue uses a Price Book to manage the list of products and their prices. By default, there is a Standard Price Book, however Nue Administrators can create Custom Price Books.

 

Each product in Nue can have multiple entries in a price book. To be able to enter the same product in the same price book, the unit of measure (UOM) and currency must be unique.

 

Activate Standard Price Book

 

If your Nue tenant is not connected to a Salesforce org, a default Standard Price Book is automatically created.

 

If your Nue tenant is connected to a Salesforce org, you will see the Standard Price Book in the Price Books menu: 

 

• Navigate to Price Builder > Price Books
• Find ‘Standard Price Book’, and click action ‘Activate’

Create Custom Price Books

 

In addition to standard price books, you can create one or more custom price books. Custom price books can be used to offer a different set of prices to a market segment, region or subset of customers. For example, you can have one set of prices for domestic customers and another for international customers.

 

To create a custom price book, click on the New Price Book. If you are creating a custom Price Book with pricing attributes, refer to Multi-attribute Pricing for more information.
